As you may have noticed, or you may not have noticed, as I know that most of us that have been around for a while already know what each page looks like, that we are going through some changes.
At this point in time, the changes are minor. But we have already begun removing our useless medals that were applicable in the past, but are useless today. Some medals were kept, and have been "redrawn" to fit more applicably to today's gaming world. Check out our page "Medals" to see the rough draft of the updates by clicking on the link to your right.
Also, the ranking structure will be going through some changes as well. While this isn't visible to the majority of you, actions are being taken and progression is being made.
To give you a little bit of an idea of what will be changing with the rankings within Dark Legion, please, continue reading:
Our member base has dwindled from the several hundred strong it was in years past. Our ranking structure is being reformatted to allow the clan to operate more efficiently. There has been far too much dissent when we have tried to 'change' our ranks in the past, so we will be keeping the foundation we currently use, thought we will be minimizing it.
For example, while the Sergeant rank will still exist, we will no longer have several Sergeant ranks. We have removed a few, including Gunnery Sergeant and First Sergeant. A few of the Officer ranks will be changing as well.
Detailed descriptions of the roles of these news ranks as well as the requirements to obtain these ranks will be posted at a later date; more specifically, when they are finalized.
Those of us involved with these new changes are very excited, and I hope you all will be as well.
